Partners

One Army

One Army is a global community uniting people to tackle environmental problems by sharing open-source knowhow. One Army’s projects include Precious Plastic, which gives anyone the skills to start their own plastic recycling operation; Fixing Fashion, a DIY approach to easy and stylish clothing repair, complete with online video tutorials; and Project Kamp, a community prototyping a sustainable way of living. Imagine5 is partnering with One Army via support for projects and joint storytelling.

An independent media brand, Positive News is spearheading a growing movement known as ‘solutions journalism’, focusing on what’s going right instead of on what’s going wrong in the world. In counteracting the dominant narrative of negativity, the idea is to offer a fuller picture of reality. Imagine5 is partnering with Positive News to share more stories of hope and climate action, including a joint series on positive tipping points.

WaterBear Network

Set up by the creators of the hit Oscar-winning documentary ‘My Octopus Teacher’, WaterBear is a free streaming platform for documentaries and short films, and is dedicated to supporting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. It helps members take immediate action to engage with a host of worthy causes. Imagine 5 is partnering with WaterBear, amplifying voices and co-creating a number of mini-documentaries to bring stories of changemakers around the world to new audiences.

Imagine5 is partnering with Project Drawdown on joint projects advancing climate solutions and narratives of hope.

Co-founded by activists and filmmakers Robert Redford and James Redford, this nonprofit harnesses the power of film to prompt eco action. Solely dedicated to environmental impact filmmaking, it has produced and supported 150 films and campaigns since it was founded in 2005. Imagine5 is partnering with The Redford Center on a free screening series presenting intersectional environmental films.
