48 hours with Nelson ZêPequéno
Imagine5 spent two days in Los Angeles with sustainable creative Nelson ZêPequéno.
As the founder of the popular Instagram account and storytelling platform @blackmenwithgardens, which features Black men with beautiful floral arrangements, Nelson’s work champions sustainability and accessibility in the studio and the garden.
“What’s the first image that comes to mind when you think gardener,” asks Nelson. “The majority of the time it’s not a Black man that looks like me.”
That’s what he’s out to change.
